Lillian "Carol" Hankins , age 73 of Mt. Airy, North Carolina passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at her home.

Born September 16, 1949 in West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas Hankins & Catherine Cornwell Hankins. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Terry and James Hankins, sister, Sarah Hankins and grandson, Larry "Bubba" Hoback, Jr.

Daughters – Candida Hopson – GA, Teresa Sutphin Bryant – FL

Grandchildren – Jayden Hopson, Dylan Harris, Jase Hopson, Raylan Bower, Nancy Hoback, Melony Hopson, & Makayla Harris

Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2023 11:00 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski.

Interment will follow at the Birchlawn Memorial Park, Pearisburg.
