Obituary

Lillian Gertrude Midkiff Holliday, age 102 of Walnut Avenue, Pulaski passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 in the Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born July 30, 1907 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. Midkiff and Lucy Gallimore Midkiff. She was also preceded in death by her husband,Claude Raymond Holliday, one son, Stanley Holliday,; one granddaughter, Judy D. Lyons; great grandson, Jason B. Arehart, son-in-law, Robert W. Dalton; five sisters; Edna Doss, Virginia Dupin, Frances Pierce, Dorothy Midkiff, and Mae Grant; two brothers Lawrence and Earl Midkiff.

She was a charter member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Pulaski. She was a cafeteria manager of the old Pulaski High School for over 20 years.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Family Worship Center/First Pentecostal Holiness , Memorial Dr., Pulaski, with Dr. C.R. Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Appalachian Conference Cemetery, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.
