Linda Martin Akers , age 74 of Draper passed away peacefully at her home on May, 23 2023. She was born in Pulaski County on May 3, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Frances Spencer Martin. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bruce Ed Akers in 2016, son, Mark Akers and granddaughter, Sierra Akers.

Both Bruce and Linda worked many years at Jefferson Mills.

Sister - Dorothy McFall - Mt Airy, NC

Lifelong Best Friend - Janice Mitchell Long - (Pulaski)

Many nieces and nephews are left to cherish her memory as well

The family would like to thank Maggie Dalton and Trea Phillpott for the care they provided Mrs. Akers during her final days. Thanks to Medi Home Hospice for all they did to help Mrs. Akers and her family.
