Lois Patricia Akers Kress, age 61 of Dublin passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg.

Born October 29, 1953 in Radford she was the daughter of Lula Mae Akers Turpin and the late James Roy Akers. Her husband, Douglas Eugene Kress also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Twin Sons-
James Ronald Akers – Dublin,
Donald Eugene Akers – El Paso, TX.

Grandchildren- Sarah Jane Akers and Jacob Kendall Akers.

Debra Akers Bokish & husband,Daniel – Bluefield, VA.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm – Friday, August 7,2015 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dale Akers officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m until service time at the funeral home.
