Luther Fredrick Boyer, age 87 of Dublin passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Pulaski Health & Rehab Center.

Born November 3, 1924 he was the son of the late Greek & Helen Tomlinson Boyer.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. He was retired from RAAP with 28 years of service.

He is survived by his

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM, April 18, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Kathie Wilson-Parker officiating.

The family will receive friends from Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

Interment will follow Thursday at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Gardens, Galax, Virginia with the Hillsville Grover King Post # 1115 conducting military honors at the graveside.
