God and his wise power called from labor and reward our dear sister, aunt, and friend
Mabel Patterson Jenkins, age 92 on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Lewis Gale Hospital-Pulaski.

Born May 5, 1919 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Patterson and Zephyr Lovelace Patterson. She attended and graduated from the Pulaski County School System.

Her husband, John Jenkins; her son, Howard, one sister, Margaret Jacobs and five brothers; William Patterson, Maceo Patterson, John Patterson, Jr., Vineyard Patterson and Ottaway Patterson also preceded her in death.

Mabel confessed Christ at an early age was baptized and joined the United Holy Church on Johnson Street, Pulaski. God in his wisdom is too kind to be unjust and we bow in humble submission. One we have dearly loved has fallen asleep.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. , February 26, 2012 at the Spirit of Life Worship Center, Pulaski with Elder Arnold Jones and Elder Douglas Patterson officiating.

Interment will follow in Pinehurst Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon prior to the 1:00 p.m. service hour at the Spirit of Life Worship Center, 239 16th Street, Pulaski.
