Mancel Lee Burke, Sr., age 77 of Dublin passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the New River Valley Medical Center.
Born January 29, 1931 in Russell County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Willie Carson "W.C." Burke. Sr. and Dana Sayles Burke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Havens Burke in 2006, and two sons, Mancel Lee Burke, Jr. and Terry Lynn Burke.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with a private Memorial service for the immediate family to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Quesenberry and Rev. J. C. McPeak officiating.
