Margaret Pearl Skeens Overbay, age 91 of Salem and formerly of Dublin passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Salem Health and Rehab.
Born August 12, 1926 in Russell County she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jefferson Skeens & Mary Magdaline Fogleman Skeens. Her husband, Robert Grady Overbay, sisters, Bessie Skeens, Florence Skeens Chester, June Skeens Isaacs, Mattie Gaynell Skeens Wimmer, Jean Skeens Owens and brothers, Stanley Skeens and Harry Skeens also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM – Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Dublin Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
