Marlene Warden Hix of Pulaski, Virginia went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Born September 25, 1941 in Draper, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lollie Warden. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Betty Warden, daughter-in-law, Patti Hix and Father and Mother-in-law, Edward Hix & Dorothy Reynolds Hix.

She was  retired from the Banking Industry with 35 years of service. Her smile lit up the room when she came in. She always greeted family and friends with a big hug. She loved being outside in her flower beds. Her flowers were the prettiest in the valley!

Marlene was a caring, loving, kind-hearted, sweet lady and family and friends will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Gary Stike officiating. Interment will follow at the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
