Martha A. Rutig, 79, a 60-year resident of Leesburg, passed away Monday, May 20 in Pulaski, VA. Born in St. Paul, MN, Martha was a graduate of Leesburg High School, and spent her career as a title researcher for Attorney's Title Insurance Fund.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, gardening and painting.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Rutig (Shannon) of Draper, VA, Frank Rutig, III of Tampa, FL, Regina Towne (Gary) of Seven Devils, NC, Thomas Rutig of Tampa, and Angela Brown (J.D.) of Lady Lake, FL, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Sandra Gilfillan of Fort Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rutig, Jr. and her sister, Michelle.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 25 at 1:30 pm in the chapel at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg.
