Mitchell Dale Akers, Sr. , age 64 of Pulaski passed away Saturday – March 6, 2021 at the UVA Medical Center. Born October 16, 1956 he was the son of the late Harvey Andrew Akers, Jr. & Fairy Frances Reed Akers.

Wife of 32 years – Leissa Ridpath Akers - Pulaski

Children – Mitchell Dale (Chelsea) Akers, Jr. – Dublin, Garnett Andrew Akers – Pulaski

Grandchildren – Tesla Akers, Tucker Akers, Georgia Akers

Sister – Madeline Akers – Christiansburg

Brother – Scott Akers – Riner

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Carson Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at the Hufford Cemetery.
