Nora Belle Puckett Owens , age 97 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday morning August 16, 2023 at Commonwealth Senior Living – Christiansburg, Virginia. Born August 2, 1926 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late John & Josie Bell Quesenberry Puckett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arless Edwin Owens, Sr., son, Arless Edwin Owens, Jr., daughter, Sharon Gunter, an infant sister and brothers, Willard, Ralph and Buddy Puckett.

After retiring from Radford Arsenal with over 25 years of service, Nora Belle worked many years and many places in retail, such as Mimi's Tots & Teens, Wise Fashions and greeted at Walmart. She was one of the original founders of the Max Creek Baptist Church in Hiwassee.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Harry Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery.
