Obituary

Olas Jennings, age 95 of Dublin passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 in the Highland Ridge Nursing Center, Dublin.

Born December 16, 1915 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Phillip Jennings and Mattie Burnett Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Odessa Coulson Jennings; Sisters, Nina Belle Jennings, Gladys Davidson, and Ethel Davidson, and five brothers, Delbert, Elbert, George, Clyde and Berlin Jennings.

He was retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in security with 26 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army.

Surviving-
Three Daughters and Sons-in-law-
Juanita and David Price- Dublin,
Rita and Chuck McKinster- Snowville,
Marilyn and Roger Lovern- Richmond.

Son and Daughter–in-law-
Howard and Linda Jennings-Forest,VA.

Nine Grandchildren-
Seventeen Great Grandchildren,
Two Great, Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with Pastor April Milligan officiating.

Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin with military honors conducted at the cemetery by the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service hour at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
