Oudom Saythong , age 65 of Pulaski, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at his home. Born April 5, 1958, in Ban Phkha, Savannakhet, Laos. He was the son of the late Banh & Kahm Saythong. He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Oudom was married to Mrs. Chansouk Saythong and is survived by three children, Spencer Saythong, Steven Saythong, and Khansily Bounthavong.

He completed his education in Laos. Then, after the war, he fled to Thailand in 1977 later making his way to the United States in 1981. He spent his time doing what he loved most. Gardening, building things, and spending time with his family and friends.

He enjoyed the little things in life like the sweet aroma of a high-quality sticky rice and the fruitiness of a home-grown pepper. He was not just a great father but a great human. His legacy will forever be one of the kindness and compassion for everything around him. He will be greatly missed.
