Peggy Amber Ivey, age 77 of Allisonia passed away Monday evening April 23, 2012 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski.

Born July 11, 1934 in Gaston County, North Carolina , she was the daughter of the late Ira Wray Carnes & Elsie Pauline Jackson Carnes.

She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday at the Farris Mines Christian Church with Rev. Dennis Trail officiating.

Interment will follow at the Farris Mines Church Cemetery, Allisonia.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Church .
