Pete Elwood O'Dell. age 85 of Draper passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke, Virginia.

Born August 18, 1925 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Charles Lawrence O'Dell and Bessie Elizabeth Smith O'Dell. Four Sisters; Estelle O'Dell Puckett, Chelsey Leigh O'Dell, & Irene "Jackie" O'Dell Edwards, & Lucille O'Dell Bryson, and two brothers, Harry O'Dell and Charles L. O'Dell, Jr. also preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II. He was steel contractor for over 50 years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. J. B. Shelton officiating.

Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with military honors conducted by the Pulaski V. F. W. Post # 1184.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski
