.Richard Franklin Handy, Jr., age 84 of Pulaski passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Carrington Place in Wytheville.
Born May 25, 1929 in Bland County he was the son of the late Richard Franklin Handy, SR. & Alma Jane Turman Handy. His son; James Marvin Handy, daughter; Linda Sue Davis, granddaughter; Ida Denise Handy, sister; Lena Mae Newman and brothers; James and Jack Handy also preceded him in death.
He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry with over 25 years of service and also worked at NRO Gas, Pulaski and RAAP.
He is survived by his Special Friend and Life Companion- Helen Emanuel-Pulaski.
Ex-wife- Eula Mantz-Dublin.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm ,October 18, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel,Pulaski with Rev. Cody Akers officiating.
Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.
