Obituary

Richard "Dickie" Harold Carnell, age 66 of Hiwassee(Allisonia Community) passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Born September 30, 1944 in Allisonia, he was the son of the late Thomas Carnell. Two Sisters, Ferida Pellicctti and Shelby Carnell; and his former wife, Gloria Jean Carnell also preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam conflict. He was the former owner of Richmond Landscaping Company.

His wife-Linda Darlene Cox Carnell-Hiwassee,

Deborah Lynn Carnell Perkins and husband, Bruce-Chesterfield,
Richard Harold Carnell, II-Midlothian,
Suzanne Marie Carnell Fanelli and husband, Mark-Midlothian.

Grandddaughter- Lindsey Knight.

Robbie and Lindy Rupe-Floyd,
Jeff and Lori Rupe-Pulaski Co.,
Paul Smith-Wytheville,
Carrie and Mike Stone-Austinville.

Step Grandchildren-
Chasity Rupe, Jordan Rupe, Caytie Rupe, Amber Rupe & Eli Stone.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 3:00 p.m. at the Allisonia Pentecostal
Holiness Church with Rev. Mike Hall officiating.
Interment will follow in the Carnell/West Family Cemetery, Allisonia with military graveside rites conducted by the Pulaski V.F.W. Post # 1184.

The family will receive friend Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
