Robert Earl "Bob" Mathena, age 79, 2013 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 in the Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery, Blacksburg.

Born May 30, 1933 in Mercer County, WV, he was the son of the late Leonard Mathena and Carrie Riggins Mathena. He was also preceded in death by the mother of their son, Elizabeth Mathena; his wife, Melba Sue Mathena; one Sister, Fannie "Cookie" Johnson, and one Brother, James Mathena.

He was retired supervisor from Coleman Furniture and Pulaski Furniture Company's.

Surviving-
Son- Mike Mathena and Kathy-Pulaski,
Granddaughter- Sonja Lynnette Mathena-Pulaski,
Sister- Sally Alley- Gordonsville, VA.
Brother- Leonard Mathena,Jr.-Dublin (Claytor Lake).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Tom Warren officiating.

Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home.
