Auctioneer & respected businessman , Robert Alan Smith , age 45 of Dublin passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 from an unexpected heart attack. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Born January 17, 1976 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, he is the son of Frank Smith and the late Eleanor "Ellie" Shawley Weikle.

He was a 1994 graduate of Shawsville High School and a 1997 graduate from Mendenhall School of Auctioneering. He has been in the auction business since 1996 and started Valley Auctions in 2003.
