Roy Everett McMahan, III, age 74 of Dublin passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born November 28, 1938 in Olivet, Illinois, he was the son of the late Roy Everett McMahan and Mary Millikan McMahan. His brother, Larry McMahan also preceded him in death.

He was a Captain in the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a graduate of the Hampton Institute in Hampton, Virginia and was a past employee of Shenandoah Recycling Company Roy was a member of the Heritage Church in Dublin.

He is survived by his wife- Pat McMahan-Dublin.,

Sister- Peggy Young- Beverly Hills, FL.

Paul McMahan and wife, Betty- Bulls Gap, TN,
Ben McMahan and wife, Mary- Galesburg, IL.,

Step-Daughters-
Pat Wood, and husband, Gerry- MI,
Kathy Sekes and husband, A.J. - FL.

Step Son-
Allan Wenck and wife, Kangfeng Mei- Raleigh, N.C.

Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m., August 26, 2013 at the Heritage Church, Dublin with Pastor Ron Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Church.
