Ruth Evelyn McPeak Lester, age 67 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville.
Born January 11, 1948 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of Paul Jackson McPeak and Lillie Scott McPeak Tolbert. Her husband, Ronnie Dean Lester; 3 grandchildren, 1 sister, Mary McPeak Bolt ,and 1 brother; Paul Jackson McPeak, Jr. also preceded her in death.

She was retired from Jefferson Mills with over 20 years service.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m., May 11, 2015 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Amy Cooper officiating . Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery, Pulaski County.
The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 p.m until service time.
