Sherlie Lee Cox, age 73 of Hiwassee (Snowville Community) passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home.

Born June 21, 1939 in Floyd County, he was the son of the late Damon Dewey Cox and Ella Mae Quesenberry Cox. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Exele Cox and Laudie Cox.
He was retired from Xaloy, Inc. with thirty seven and a half years of service. He was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church,Radford.

His wife- Joyce Dishon Cox-Hiwassee,

Sons and Daughters-in-law-
Exil Keith Cox and Elizabeth Cox,
Philip Lee Cox and Lisa Cox,
William Dewey Cox and Sandi Cox,
Johnny Lee Cox and Amanda Cox- all of Hiwassee.

Seven Grandchildren-
Travis Cox, Kayla and Jacob Snyder, Rebecca Cox, Courtney Cox, Emily Cox, Brandon Cox and Laura Cox.

Sister-
Lucille Stike and husband, Gene- Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 p.m., March 1, 2013 at the Gethsemane Baptist Church, Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Dishon Cemetery, Snowville.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
