Shirley Yvonne Pagan Akers , age 82 of Barren Springs passed away Saturday morning September 22, 2018 at her home. Born January 18, 1936 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Walter Herman Pagan & Stella Mae Jones Pagan. Her husband, Hobert Charlie Akers (2011), brothers, Ray, Wayne and Jimmy Pagan, sister, Carolyn Ann Highsmith also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 – Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dennis Trail officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon between 3:00-5:00 PM at the funeral home.
