Shirley Magdalene Rickey Warf , age 74 of Dublin passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born April 19, 1948 in Max Meadows, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Boyd Dickerson Rickey, Sr. & Sally Elizabeth Jackson Rickey. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Scarlett Lynn Warf, Sundy Joy Warf, brothers Bascome Jackson, Dr. Cecil Collins, Ray Rickey, Bruce Collins, sisters Charlotte Callis, (twins) Ellen & Helen Collins, Elizabeth Cooley and Agnes Watson.

Shirley was known for her comforting spirit and giving heart. She cared for everyone she met and helped families through their roughest times. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her fondest memories were made around her kitchen table with a glass of sweet tea.

Grandchildren – Ethan Dale (Madi) Taylor, Hunter Evan (Shelby) Taylor, Skyler Erica Noel Patterson, Noah Josiah Patterson

Great Grandchildren - Ryleigh Marie Warf, Ava Reign Edmonds, Joyce Christine Taylor

Sisters - Bernice Neikirk – Salem, Barbara (Jim) Harpe – Roanoke

Brother - Boyd "Dickey" (Beverly) Rickey – Barren Springs

Sister-in-laws – Patsy Hall – Pulaski, Helen Warf – SC

Multiple nieces and nephews whom she loved

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM – Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Randall Lawrence officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM – Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
