Theodore "Buster" Arnold Worley, age 92 of Pulaski went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Christmas evening, December 25, 2012 at his home.
Born July 18, 1920 in Todd, North Carolina (Ashe County) to the late Samuel Isiah Worley and Matilda Rose Worley Foster. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 63 years, Goldia Pauline Rutherford Worley in 2008; and their only son, Gregory Arnold Worley in 1996; three sisters, Doris Eliza Worley, Jeanette Harrison and Virgie Lee Worley , and two brothers, James Cyrus Worley and Stanley Worley.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a long time member of the Pulaski Church of God and very active member within the church. He served as the church clerk since 1956 and taught Sunday school for over 47 years and was a former choir director and youth pastor. He was very proud to be a member of the Lord's Acre Sale Association where he served as President for many years. He was retired from Jefferson Mills with over 27 years of service. Mr. Worley worked part time with Bower Funeral Home for 20 years where he and his wife Goldia were always considered a part of their family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Pulaski Church of God (Refreshing Center) with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Dublin Cemetery where the V.F.W. Post #1184 will conduct military honors .The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the Church.

The family wishes to "Thank" Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.
Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the Worley Family.
