Velma Jean Shockley Walters, age 78 of Pulaski passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the NRV Medical Center.
Born April 28, 1940 in Radford she was the daughter of the late Marion Vivian "MV" Shockley & Hallie Sutphin Shockley.
Her husband, Fred J. Walters; two brothers, Melvin and Fielding Shockley, sister, Colleen Smith and baby sister, Ramona
Shockley also preceded her in death.
She was retired from Department of Social Services in Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM, February 24, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski
with Pastor Ricky Freeman & Pastor Ron Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, VA.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, February 23, 2019 at the funeral home.
