Velvie Adkins Young, age 78 of Dublin passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the New River Valley Medical Center.
Born September 23, 1940 in Pikeville, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Lester C. Adkins & Fannie Kinney Adkins. 
Her son, James Lester Young and brothers, Gary, Kenneth and Dean Adkins also preceded her in death.


She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home-Pulaski 
with Pastor Craig Caylor officiating.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.  until service time at Bower Funeral Home.
