Virgie Allene Taylor, age 83 of Dublin passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the New River Valley 
Medical Center, Radford. Born February 1, 1936 in Bluefield, VA she was the daughter of the late 
Ernest Lee Taylor & Allie May Proffitt Taylor, the children's father, McKinley Curtis Taylor, a loving
sister, husband, Kenneth A. Gibson and step daughter, Karen Sue French also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Pulaski VFW Post #1184 Ladies Auxiliary for 34 years.

She is survived by her

Johnny Dean (Lara) Taylor – Goochland, VA
Susie (Phillip) George – Dublin
Becky Taylor – Max Meadows

Grandchildren
Colt Merchberger, Christl Noertker, Nick Taylor, Josh Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Jaxon Taylor

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM – Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, 
Pulaski with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – until service time Monday at the funeral home.
