Virginia Pearl Cook Jessie , age 91 of Pulaski went to be the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Born August 27, 1931 in Welch, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Calup Jessie. She was also preceded in death by her parents Fred Gandy Cook & Zella Lou Reedy Cook; a daughter – Sandra Jane Blankenship; brothers – Ira Cook, Fred "Jerry" Cook, Billy Cook and a sister – Leola Boschian.

She is survived by her

Children – Roger Lee (Janice) Jessie – Pilot, VA, William Donald (Peggy) Jessie – Pulaski, VA; Teresa Jessie (John) Ososki – MI, Michael Jay Jessie – Wytheville, VA.

The family will receive friends between 5:00-7:00 PM – Thursday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM – Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Elder Don Singleton officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Claypool Hill, (Cedar Bluff) Virginia.
