Virginia McPeak Lyons Tolbert, age 75 of Dublin, Virginia passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born June 20, 1936 in Newbern, she was the daughter of the late Oakley Harrison McPeak and Elsie Mae Bishop McPeak Burke. A number of sisters and brothers also preceded her in death.

Her Husband- James F. "Rooster" Tolbert-Dublin.

Sister- Frances Shockney- Savage, MD.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 A.M., April 4, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Clayton Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in Newbern Cemetery, Pulaski County.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home.
