Walter Harmon Poe, age 96 of Dublin passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Highland Ridge Nursing Center, Dublin.

Born November 2, 1916 in Abingdon, Virginia, he was the son of the late Leander Poe and Leula VanHoy Poe. His Wife, Florence Ellen LaRue Poe and a number of brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.
He was a retired painter.

Joyce P. Wilson- Dublin.

Grandchildren-
Janella Goad and husband, Leonard Goad- Indian Valley,
Denise Saunders-Pulaski,&
Valerie Harris-Newbern.

Great Grandchildren-
Cierra, Elizabeth, Courtney, Caitlin, Elijah and Addison.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dale Akers officiating.

Interment will follow at Highland Memory Garden, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
