Warren Reed Alley, age 65, beloved father and grandfather passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at his home.

Born January 31, 1943 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Claude Swanson Alley and Golden Ora Gallimore Alley. One brother, Roger Carlton Alley also preceded him in death.

Warren was a 1961 graduate of Pulaski County High School and a 1967 graduate of Virginia Tech. He retired from IBM with 30 years of service as an Industrial Engineer.
He was an avid supporter of Virginia Tech athletics. He loved spending time with his grandchildren; Emme and Ashton, as well as traveling to the beach.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at the First Christian Church, Jefferson Avenue, Pulaski with Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.
