Willie May Porterfield Brooks, age 69 of Roanoke passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski.
Born August 19, 1946 in Pulaski County she was the daughter of the late John Peyton Porterfield & Rose Zetta Turner Porterfield. Her sisters, Betty Jo Porterfield, Judith Robinson, brothers, Douglas Wayne Porterfield, John Harrison Porterfield and Pet-Dog, Pebbles also preceded her in death.
Willie was a member of the Salem Church of God and a diligent worker at their food pantry.
She loved crafts and decorating for all occasions.

She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon – Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Allen Roberson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM – Friday evening at the Funeral Home.
